No Surprise "Local Dish" is #1 On our way from Exeter, NH to our new home in Tampa, FL, we're staying overnight in Fort Mill, SC. I took a quick look at the Trip Advisor recommendations; selected the number one restaurant: "Local Dish". What a treat! The restaurant seats about 65 and we arrived at the exact right moment! Minutes after our arrival at about 6:15 p.m., a line began to form at the back door... The servers were friendly, provided help to each other, and were certainly aware of the need to feed people and open up tables for those waiting! The "pulled pork" and chicken salad were fresh, beautifully presented, and tasty! A delicious and healthy dinner (with a glass of wine and a beer) for two for $30 was a terrific surprise! Dedication to "local" and fresh" is what makes this restaurant special - along with friendly service!

Local Dish is a favorite restaurant of ours, the food is delicious and it feels great to support the revitalization of Fort Mill Main Street! The menu has an excellent selection of well-prepared, original dishes served by an excellent wait staff. YUMMY!

I’ve been in Fort Mill for 7 years and I can’t believe I just now tried this amazing gem. The food was delicious! The service was great. I will definitely be visiting often.

I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich for dinner tonight and it was excellent! The fried green beans and crispy spinach was also wonderful. I can't wait to go back and try something else.
